Provimi Pet Food to be renamed Partner in Pet Food

Provimi Pet Food, the international manufacturer of pet food and former subsidiary of the Provimi Group, has announced that it is renaming itself Partner in Pet Food. The decision to rebrand follows the sale of the business to Advent International, the global private equity firm, earlier this year by the Provimi Group, says the company. Partner in Pet Food says it is the second largest producer of private label wet and dry pet food in Europe, supplying customers in 28 markets, including major grocery stores. Headquartered in Hungary, Partner in Pet Food employs approximately 1 000 staff across the continent. In recent years, the business has gone from strength to strength. Its sales volume increased by 199 000 tonnes between 2005 and 2010.
